Canadian Scullers win Singles Titles

Malcolm Howard and Darcy Marquardt won the men’s and women’s singles championship at the 43rd Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts. Darcy Marquardt is well known for her speed in the women’s pair. In women’s eight, the United States bested Canada's national team boat stroked by Buffy Williams by 13 seconds in perfect weather.
