Canada will have 8 rowing boats in Olympics
Eight Canadian boats are bound for Beijing, after a regatta in Poland: men's eight, women's eight W8, women's quad, lightweight men's four, men's pair M2, women's pair, lightweight men's double M2, and lightweight women's double.
W8+ Jane Rumball (Fredericton NB), Marquardt (Richmond BC), Buffy Williams (St. Catharines ON), Romina Stefancic (Victoria BC), Ashley Brzozowicz (Toronto), Sarah Bonikowsky (Orangeville ON), Andréanne Morin (Montreal), Heather Mandoli (Kelowna BC), and Lesley Thompson-Willie (London ON).
M2- Scott Frandsen (Kelowna BC) and Dave Calder (Victoria BC).
LM2x Douglas Vandor (Dewittville PQ) and Cameron Sylvester (Caledon ON).
Rowing Canada's final decisions will be made June 24.
