Canadians top medals at International Dragon Boat championships

Canadian national team made the top of the medal table at the International Dragon Boat Federation’s World Nations Championships in Szeged, Hungary. Canada collected 30 gold medals and 51 in total in standard boat competition that wrapped up July 28.  Eight athletes from Pemberton Canoe Club combined with Ontario paddlers, and had just a few days of training together to match their stroke style before travelling to Hungary to compete.
